Classic heart – #griefheart number 62

Classic heart

I was shopping today and hoped I’d run into some inspiration for my #griefheart. I was walking back to my car, disappointed I had not seen anything that inspired me and I stopped in a store that I like.

While I was making a purchase, the sales lady happened to mention that Panera had given her the wrong soup. I can’t remember what I said that prompted that conversation but I saw she was alone in the store so I offered to take it back and get her the kind she wanted. It was just next door.

So when I brought back the soup, she was very grateful. And then I saw it and smiled. A #griefheart for a good deed. Charles always did deeds like that. And perhaps he put it in my path? I think I’ll go with that.

What is the #griefheart project?

I explain my #griefheart project here.

  1. My dearest friend, Ellen, who lost her precious son, Matt, to a heroin overdose six months after my Maggie died by suicide, sent me a text this morning: “Anne Moss’s blog today is powerful”. Yes, Anne Moss it is, beautiful too! Acts of kindness in honor of Charles brings comfort, love and healing to so many (especially the one showing the grace). Keep on writing and pouring out your heart, as you are helping to change this broken world!
