How to use DBT skills to manage the pain of grief

There are some self-help strategies in DBT (dialectical behavior therapy) that I used to manage my grief. Now I want to be clear that while I used these skills, I didn’t know at the time that they were actual DBT skills but looking back, I can now identify how I used them in my grief process.
