Novel Bookstore is located in Memphis Tennessee and is hosting an author event with two mothers who’ve lost a son to suicide. This is during National Suicide Awareness Week, Sept 7-13. The event will be on Zoom 6pm CDT/7pmEDT.


Margaret Tompson is the author of The World Looks Different Now: A Memoir of Suicide, Faith, and Family. This book launched in July 2020.

Anne Moss Rogers is the author of Diary of a Broken Mind: A Mother’s Story, a Son’s Suicide and the Haunting Lyrics He Left Behind. This book launched in October 2019. You can buy Diary of a Broken Mind at Fountain Bookstore

AnneMoss Rogers is a mental health and suicide education expert, mental health speaker, suicide prevention trainer and consultant. She is author of the Book, Diary of a Broken Mind and co-author of Emotionally Naked: A Teacher's Guide to Preventing Suicide and Recognizing Students at Risk with Kim O'Brien PhD, LICSW. She raised two boys, Richard and Charles, and lost her younger son, Charles to addiction and suicide on June 5, 2015. She is a motivational speaker who empowers by educating and provides life saving strategies and emotionally healthy coping skills.
