I’m going to Canada for training on becoming certified to train teachers, staff, corporation groups, citizens, students on suicide. It’s a 3.5 hour course that can be bundled with any of my keynote presentations.
LivingWorks safeTALK is a four-hour face-to-face workshop featuring powerful presentations, audiovisuals, and skills practice. (3.5-4 hours)
At a LivingWorks safeTALK workshop, you’ll learn how to prevent suicide by recognizing signs, engaging someone, and connecting them to an intervention resource for further support.
A skilled, supportive trainer will guide you through the course, and a community resource will be on hand to support your safety and comfort.
Thankfully, my YWCA Pat Asch fellowship has allowed me to get this training to bring suicide prevention to the area in which I live as well.
Of all the trainings I have received, I find the Living Works trainings, ASIST and safeTALK, to be the best and the best for me in terms of fulfilling my professional and personal goals.
