I will be covering the topic of suicide prevention with a focus on our high schools. Health and PE teachers in Virginia have been tasked to teach mental health and suicide prevention. Yet they do not get the training to do so. I will be proposing some solutions.

Covering: safeTALK training, QPR presentation and Response for teachers to use for teaching.

My ask will be that the club support those efforts in Powhatan County Schools.
