Survivor Day is the one day a year when people affected by suicide loss gather around the world at events in their local communities to find comfort and gain understanding as they share stories of healing and hope.

The Program
11 a.m. Welcoming with food and refreshments
11:30 a.m. Screening of Life Journeys, a documentary about reclaiming Life after Loss, a new AFSP-produced Survivor Day documentary that traces the grief and healing journey that follows a suicide loss over time. The film shows that through resilience and support, we can achieve hope and understanding in our lives while celebrating the lives of those we lost.
12:00 p.m. Presentations by local suicide loss survivors and mental health professionals
1:00 p.m. Small group discussions that bring together people who have experienced a similar loss
2:00 p.m. Closing
