I will be presenting my personal story and what I’ve learned about mental illness and addiction to the parents at St. Gertrude’s.
Coming to this presentation does not mean you have a child that is addicted
It means you are aware this is the environment your child is growing up in and want more eduction on what that is is important so you can guide your child on a path to success.
I am co-presenting with Bill Maher, a nationally-known and well-respected substance use disorder interventionist who lives in Richmond, VA and works with families to help loved ones find resources for recovery and healthy living.
This is a parent education presentation and open to the community. St. Gertrude’s is being proactive on the subjects of mental illness and addiction.
Awesome Anne..lets try to get this out to our area schools who don’t think we have a problem..F4R started this several years ago…pushback was concerning, maybe time has helped…
I would love to do this at more schools. Bill and I were a good team. St. Gertrude is so proactive in terms of talking about taboo subjects.
