In partnership with Full Circle Grief Center of Richmond VA, Anne Moss Rogers, President of Beacon Tree, will tell her story, speak about how to cope with a stigmatized loss and present strategies of finding yourself again after a devastating loss. We will discuss the shame associated with the disease of addiction as well as the aftermath.
Anne Moss lost her son Charles, 20, to suicide while he was experiencing withdrawal from heroin. He died June 5, 2015 and suffered from depression and anxiety for many years, and addiction the last 5 months of his life.
