This is a book signing and local re-launch of my book, Diary of a Broken Mind: A Mother’s Story, A Son’s Suicide, And The Haunting Lyrics He Left Behind
I am from Fayetteville, NC, took performed in plays and took drama lessons from Bo Thorpe for over a decade at this theatre and this is an opportunity to celebrate with friends I grew up with. I will speak briefly and also do a reading if the audience is open to that.
I am not certain if there will be refreshments other than water and nuts but I’m going to leave that to my mother’s book club who is hosting this event. At one time they hosted bridesmaids luncheons and then baby showers. Now they are hosting a book event for my debut as an author after my youngest son took his life at age 20.
