Asking a favor

I’m working on getting an agent which is the first step to getting my book published. It would help if I have more subscribers because they will want to know if I have a following.

Bigger numbers equal more interest from both agents and publishers.

It might be you have this site bookmarked and you don’t subscribe. I would appreciate it if you did. There is a weekly option and a daily one and I can add bi-monthly if there is demand. Just let me know in the comments.

What’s more, the shares by you guys have reached others and saved lives. We all want to keep that happening.

So if you would share the link below with:

  • Others who are suffering a loss from overdose or suicide
  • A parent with a child suffering addiction
  • A parent with a child suffering mental illness like anxiety, depression, bipolar etc.
  • People in recovery from substance use disorder
  • Parents with teenagers.
  • Young adults

They’ll also eventually ask me about “open rates”

So please open the email at least half the time. Again, I want the numbers to look good.

It makes me cringe to ask this subscription favor. I chickened out from publishing this post for the last two weeks and almost didn’t publish it today.

Join thousands of others fighting to open up the conversation on mental illness, addiction, suicide and grief. Because it takes a village.

  1. I can give you the names and address’s to mail your manuscript. Another very good idea is to a smash video of your public speaking, social media posts, and a strong list of supporters.

    Google analytics will help too!

    1. I have google analytics in my book proposal as well as screenshots of quotes from potential readers. And Richard is now doing a demo reel for me. My TEDx video will be out around end of February or so. I hope anyway. My video footage isn’t the best because sound flakes a bit on the location which I tried to prevent by going early for sound check. But I will use what I have.
