Do you have an inspirational quote to share?

Sharing this today because it hit me that this is a quote I live. Sometimes when you are struggling, a good quote helps reset your brain.

Here are some of my other favorites.

“I can’t change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails” –James Dean

“Well-behaved women seldom make history.” –Marilyn Monroe

“Even in darkness, sometimes sunshine shines through the blinds.” –Charles Aubrey Rogers

My motivational mental health keynotes, training and workshop topics include suicide prevention, addiction, mental illness, anxiety, coping strategies/resilience, and grief. As talented and funny as Charles was, letting other people know they matter was his greatest gift. And now the legacy I try and carry forward in my son's memory. Mental Health Speakers Website. 1. I heard this one earlier this year and have pondered it several times since then.

You can get bitter or you can get better. The choice is yours.

  2. I will get up and dance! I won’t miss that opportunity! I will move past the pain and take a chance on a new day. I forget who said it, but if given the choice, I hope you dance.

I always will. I know how blessed I am.

  3. Lean Forward into your Life
    live with intention
    walk to the edge
    listen hard
    laugh
    play with abandon
    practice wellness
    continue to learn
    appreciate your friends
    choose with no regret
    do what you love
live as if there is all there is
