I created a profile at espeakers and would love some feedback. If you find typos, let me know. I know I need better videos. Audio is compromised on some of them or my voice sounds like it’s been put through a dispose-all in one of them.
Mental health speaker profile is here.
You can search by topic here. If you choose mental health, you can see how I compare with other profiles.
I’m also listed in these topics:
- Mental health
- Alcoholism/Drug Abuse
- Marketing (might change this to content marketing)
- Social media
- Bereavement
- Women in Business
The goal is to get some paid gigs to support my advocacy efforts and to have the opportunity to finish the book I have started. You can post feedback here! Thank you.

I am an emotionally naked TEDx speaker, and author of the Book, Diary of a Broken Mind and co-author with Kim O'Brien PhD, LICSW of Emotionally Naked: A Teacher's Guide to Preventing Suicide and Recognizing Students at Risk. I raised two boys, Richard and Charles, and lost my younger son, Charles to substance use disorder and suicide on June 5, 2015. I help people foster a culture of connection to prevent suicide, reduce substance misuse and find life after loss. My motivational, training and workshop topics include suicide prevention, addiction, mental illness, coping strategies/resilience, and grief.
As talented and funny as Charles was, letting other people know they matter was his greatest gift. And now the legacy I try and carry forward in my son's memory.

I think that the convincing reviews, long list of credible experience, and personal storyline all shine together like a bound fire outside in the chilly, dark night. The presentation is really impressive and professional. That smile is a winner.
Thank you Michael! That’s so thoughtful
You’re welcome.
I think everything looks great.
Thank you Gray. If you had critique, I’d be open to it
