Pine needle heart— #griefheart number 268

Needles are normally something that poke. And it’s funny what forms into a heart. You’d never think that something with the word “needle” in it would make a heart.

Will love seeing family tomorrow. I will miss my boy who is no longer with us and will miss my boy in LA. First time without Richard for thanksgiving but going to California for Christmas.

What is the #griefheart project?

I explain my #griefheart project here.

  1. I understand how you feel missing Richard. It is been almost 10 years estranged from my only remaining child, Patrick 31 years old. There was a great article and my email this morning I shared with a grief group I will share here. It touches on the part you and another comment above referenced – being lost or disconnect amongst the chaos of all of the Thanksgiving festivities and family members. I got a lot out of it. I’m glad you will see Richard at Christmas.

  2. I received my 3 signs from Curt today. We miss him terribly, but i’m Comforted by his “presence “. My Mother- in- Law. joined Curt May 1st, 2017. Today I will be there for my Husband, Daughter, and Sister in law who is more a Sister, than a law! Blessings and love to all us Mother’s who have to continue our life on earth, without our child, until we are all reunited.🙏❤️

  3. Happy Thanksgiving Anne Moss!

I the midst of all the hubbub and with all the people around, we still feel the big empty that our loved ones space has left. The last time my whole family was together was Thanksgiving 2011. After that Daniel was always in rehab or jail until he died from a fentanyl overdose May 14, 2014.

He will be missed today. Praying for all of the others who are experiencing the big empty too.
