Veteran’s Day heart – #griefheart number 181

Veteran's day griefheart
Veteran’s day

Transitioning to life after service is difficult and PTSD, depression, addiction, anxiety and other mental illnesses plague our troops and veterans.

On this Veteran’s day, we honor those who have fought for our country. And remember those we lost in battle as well as those we lost to internal battles known as suicide.

Thank you Charles Davis for this photograph of your purple heart from injury sustained July 26, 2011. We are happy you are with us today to celebrate your service to our country.

What is the #griefheart project?
