Death Anniversary Heart– #griefheart number 56

Death Anniversary Heart
Death Anniversary Heart

This #griefheart represents all the love and support we have received since Charles’ suicide. It is made up of the grief cards we got after Charles’ death June 5, 2015.

Charles died 4 days after we sold our house, so we moved and I’m not sure this is all of them. But it has to be most of them. It’s a big heart from people with big hearts for a child with a big heart.

What is the #griefheart project?

I explain my #griefheart project here.

  1. I ran into your mom last year at the nail salon a few days before your son died. We had served on a committee together and are casual friends. We talked about our grandchildren and she told me about her talented grandson. Later I saw the obit in the paper and realized Charles was the talented grandson she was so proud of. My heart broke for her and for your entire family. We have a grandchild who is also very bright and talented but who struggles with mental health issues and has attempted suicide recently. It is the most heartbreaking thing in my life. My child and their spouse have turned over every rock to help their child but we all live in fear of the next crash. Your grief heart project is very moving to me and you are in my prayers.

  2. This is a beautiful image of all those who have and will continue to send love and prayers for strength and courage ! My heart is heavy for you and your family today. Please know I am with you in spirit . So sorry I am not there to give you the biggest hug ever.. I hope you can feel the love I am sending your way today ❤️
